Ann Dale
chairs the Board of Directors of the NET. She is a rare hybrid, both an academic and one of our country's foremost experts in sustainable development and an environmental activist, deeply committed to building capacity in the environmental movement.

Clifford Lincoln is a Federal Member of Parliament, as Liberal MP for Montreal. He is currently Chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee of Heritage and has been the parliamentary secretary to the Minister of the Environment. He was formerly Minister of the Environment in Quebec and has been a long-time supporter of environmental groups.

Jim MacNeill is currently the Ombudsman for the World Bank. Formerly he has served as Special Advisor to the United Nations Development Programme and Secretary General of the United Nations Commission on Environment and Development (Brundtland Commission).

Elizabeth May is Executive Director of the Sierra Club of Canada, a member of the board of directors of the International Institute for Sustainable Development, vice-chair of the National Round Table for the Environment and Economy, and chair of Women and the Environment at Dalhousie University.

Ruth Richardson is the Environment Coordinator for the George Cedric Metcalf Foundation. She is the co-chair of the Canadian Environmental Grantmakers' Network (CEGN) as well as a member of the Advisory Board to the Laidlaw Foundation, and currently serves as an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Task Force on the Churches and Corporate Responsibility.

Gulzar Samji is a consultant and educator on environment, gender and development, and has published widely in this area. She is a director of the Canadian Institute of Community Development, and, is currently leading regional consultations in British Columbia to get input from civil society on the causes of racism in their communities in preparation for the UN World Conference on Anti-Racism.

Nikki Skuce is the Communications Coordinator at One Sky - The Canadian Institute of Sustainable Living. Her passion is working towards environmental sustainability and social justice both at local and international levels. for One Sky.

Dave Smith is a prominent Ottawa businessman and philanthropist. A member of the Order of Canada, he is known for his outstanding contributions in assisting charitable works in the community.

Kent Waddington, freelance writer and photographer, serves as the Energy Efficiency Coordinator for the Canadian College of Health Service Executives promoting greenhouse gas reduction within the Canadian health care sector. He is also a founding member of the Canadian Coalition for Green Health Care.
