Gardening For Biodiversity:

Creating habitat and cultivating

support for nature

As part of our ongoing Biodiversity public literacy campaign, we’ve partnered with Prof. Nina-Marie Lister and the Ecological Design Lab on their national Bylaws for Biodiversity research, along with Nature Canada and FLAP Canada, to develop all new Gardening for Biodiversity resources.

Together, we’ve created a series of free, fact-based downloadable PDFs to help communities and individuals learn how to cultivate biodiversity and support for wildlife habitat in our yards and on our balconies!

This initiative serves as a collaborative repository, bringing together valuable tools and reputable resources from our organizations, all in one accessible collection, designed to simplify your gardening journey.

Biodiversity Booklets:

This series includes four comprehensive fact sheets (with more to be developed in the future), each focusing on key aspects of biodiversity gardening:

Be sure to visit our website blog, where we’ll dive deeper into these resources and share additional insights and strategies to help you take meaningful action against biodiversity loss and climate change.
